Addlestone Health Centre

This podiatrist in particular, supported by a equally excellent nurse in Parishes Bridge Medical Centre have working together cured my 5 year old ulcer.

I have received excellent treatment from the staff who have looked after my care. However I have some concerns about the admin. involved with the aftercare. I developed infections in both toes. I had been advised to contact the podiatry dept. at Chertsey (01932 570607) if I had any concerns. I spent an hour trying to get through and then I got a message, "the surgery is closed" and the opening hours stating it closed at 3pm. It was 3pm. I then tried again on the following Monday morning and was on the phone for another hour. I gave up and contacted my doctor. I followed the instructions on your Version 6 form to be advised later that I had been soaking the setting with saline for too long after the surgery and that I should have left them uncovered earlier which my have prevented the infections. Perhaps the form should be updated and an up to date telephone system be installed at Chertsey asking for the callers number and advising the caller that a member of staff will call them back.
