Awful hospital. Very outdated and old fashioned. I didn't feel safe there at all. Spent most of the time scared for my life. Staff weren't very caring and were always 'too busy' to talk. Not a nice place to be.

Appalling place unfit to provide care, see CQC report. Dreadful communication, patients are not safe, staff are antagonistic and bullying not skilled in de escalating situations at all and seem to go out of their way to escalate them. The ward is run like a punishment block. Impossible to speak to any clinician, the ward clerk gives out inaccurate information and refuses to give out email or contact details for any manager or clinician. They can't even provide a bedroom for a mentally ill adult. Shared dormitories in 2021?? My relative thought they might die there through their neglect, I shared her concern and moved heaven and earth to get her transferred.

The staff were neglectful and the environment was unsafe. I had passed out in a corridor and a number of staff members walked along the corridor where I was on the floor just coming round and not one stopped to help. Severely understaffed. Broken glass was left in the smoking area despite staff being aware it was there and a number of patients proceeded to use this to harm themselves. At the start of my admission I had thought ‘I may not get help to get better here but at least it’ll keep me safe’ yet I quickly learned that this was not the case. I’m appalled by the lack of care provided by this hospital.

Horrible place. Rubbish and nonsensical procedures. Despicable treatment. Negligence. Several of the nurses and HC assistant were lovely.
