Lock Road Surgery

I have 2 problems with Lock Road Surgery. 1. They were completely unhelpful with my COVID vaccine registration issues. They just washed their hands of it rather than offering to try to speak to someone more centrally to sort it out. Job's worth! 2. When I order a repeat prescription and take it a couple of days early so it will fit with my schedule if I am going away they refuse to release it back to the chemist. Petty beyond belief and not allowing flexibility to the customer.

I just found this site. I have recommended Lock Road Surgery to many friends already. Apart from good doctors, I just have to recommend the lovely, dedicated professional nurse. She gives a level of care that makes you absolutely believe in the NHS. I am a Sri Lankan who lived in Belgium and Italy and my husband is German - but this surgery is the friendliest place that makes some things in the UK worth believing in and fighting for. The receptionists are so patient when callers take time to explain. If you cant get through on the system, just drop in and take an appointment.

An outstanding GP surgery, excellent doctors and nurses who always put the patient first and supported by the really helpful receptionists will always try to meet your needs.

The lady at reception was friendly and efficient and I was seen at the time of my appointment. The nurse I saw was excellent
