I recently underwent an ADHD diagnosis process by reaching out to my GP, who referred me to PsychiatryUK via the Right to Choose pathway. From the initial assessment to the titration period, the process was seamless and efficient. I felt exceptionally well cared for by both my psychiatrist, Naveem, and my prescriber, Denise. Their expertise and genuine concern reassured me that I was in capable hands. Naveems approach immediately put me at ease. He attentively reviewed my questionnaire forms, listened patiently to my concerns, and concluded that an ADHD diagnosis was appropriate. He also provided valuable tools and documents to help me during the waiting period for the titration phase. Prior to commencing my titration period, I received valuable and informative guidance regarding the medication I would be prescribed. This guidance clarified the nature of the medication, its mechanisms of action, and how it would benefit me. It thoroughly addressed any queries or concerns a person may have about the medication, ensuring you felt well-informed and confident moving forward. Communication throughout the process was thorough and effortless. Denise's warmth and friendliness were particularly remarkable, making me feel comfortable and supported. The user-friendly portal provided by PsychiatryUK allowed easy access to forms, notes, messages, and prescriptions. Additionally, the email and text reminders were invaluable in keeping me organised with appointments and medication schedules. Overall, my experience has been overwhelmingly positive, and I feel empowered and equipped to handle my symptoms better than ever before. This diagnosis has been truly transformative, particularly in my work life, where I now navigate tasks and deadlines with greater clarity and efficiency. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to use my diagnosis as a superpower rather than a limitation. It has opened doors to understanding myself better and harnessing my strengths. The exceptional care and support I received throughout this journey has been impeccable, and I look forward to embracing the future with confidence and resilience. Thank you, to both Naveem and Denise. I truly hope this feedback is circulated back to you as you both deserve the recognition. You have both been super stars! Chelsea Ingram

When the titration process started I was in contact with Denise Bromilow, ADHD Specialist and Independent Prescriber via the online portal. She was very thorough with her review of her I was getting on with the medication and gave great advise. If I ever had any questions she replied sooo quickly. At the end of the process I had a phone call with her to have a final review. She was so lovely and I felt really comfortable speaking with her. She really cares about her patients and I felt really looked after throughout this process. I could not recommend this service any more. Thank you!

Denise was great! I know from the waiting time that the team must be extremely busy but I never felt rushed and was always encouraged to contact her if I ever had any questions or concerns. Couldn't ask for more.

Denise was absolutely amazing! Her replies were very fast, and she cared about my health and wellbeing. She would take into account everything I say and would answer all my questions with care and as informative as possible. I can't imagine a better service. Her tone of messages made me feel relaxed at all times, and I didn't feel like I would be annoying because she seemed so welcoming and showing she wants to help. I'm very thankful for her!
