Hannah has been great from the beginning. I had a bit of a rocky start, but Hannah was understanding and professional, listening to and replying to my anxious messages! It can be daunting starting a stimulant medication without actually seeing anyone face- to - face, but Hannah put me at ease and it's been great knowing she is only a message away! I had some blood tests done through my GP for a different problem, which showed an issue with my blood. I looked up my medication on a patient leaflet website and found that that particular medication has a very rare side effect that can cause/exacerbate blood issues. I messaged Hannah straight away, who then consulted with my psychiatrist and came up with a plan to move me over to a different medication. My anxiety was super high during this time, but Hannah was very reassuring and really helped me get through it. I would 100% recommend Hannah to anyone :)

We aren’t a family who really posts reviews, but this one felt necessary. Though, it’s difficult to put in to words what the team at Psychiatry UK have done. This our story. Having a child with ‘disabilities’ is something that few people truly get, particularly when they are academically successful. For us, the journey has been really long, with multiple diagnoses and interventions, yet not a lot had changed except services became more fixed in shape. A shape that did not fit however hard the local teams tried. So we went back to our instincts and booked an private ADHD assessment with Psychiatry UK. Anticipating some issues as we were also contending with a restrictive eating disorder, we messaged the team, and thankfully Dr Roberts agreed to help. All we can say is it was like a saint arrived. It was clear from the report that he got the situation, issues and experience! The report gave the best assessment and likeness to of all the reports we have ever received. It was the first time that a psychiatrist or psychologist truly understood, and knew how to approach and communicate with the various issues that were at play. Then came titration. We all knew, and Dr Roberts had made us aware of the challenge. But, in a supportive and sensitive way got me motivated to take responsibility and own it. It was a challenge. It was a long and hard process, with many up, downs, and turn arounds, and at many points a reality check. Throughout, Hannah, Dr Roberts and the GP communicated well, and demonstrated the patience, knowledge and understanding. The experience was personal, with the eating disorder acknowledged and worked with, and at not point was it made to be an insurmountable problem. On what felt like out last try it clicked. The change was stark: ‘brain, head and body’ were finally connected. Something which has shone through in the most beautiful way in multiple parts of life. Coming home to a young adult, fed, dressed, working on their PhD and walked dog is something that was a distant dream to us. It’s nice to now be able to cuddle up on the sofa come of an evening, together, calmly, in a clean house and watch a film. To many this may feel like nothing, but to us it feels like the world. To Dr Roberts, Hannah, and the team at Psychiatry UK, thank you for giving us this the greatest gift, it’s been worth every penny.

I have nothing but praise for Hannah Woodmansey who handled the titration of my medication from the very start of my treatment for ADHD right through to a point where I was comfortable and stable on a dose that worked well for me and I was ready to transfer my care over to my local GP (under a Shared Care Agreement). I found her to be exceedingly professional with the service that she provided. She organised a clear structure to the titration program from the start and then made appropriate changes when required to ensure I was achieving the most benefit from my medication in the safest possible way. She was very knowledgeable about my medication and was insightful and helpful whenever I had a question or needed advice. When I asked about the compatibility of my medication in relation to other medications that I was taking or considering to take for other health issues, her advice and instructions were very clear. On one occasion when a mistake was made by my pharmacist, she was very quick to respond to my enquiry and provided important advice which proved to be critical to my care. Throughout my entire titration period, I felt that Hannah was very approachable, she listened to what I said, responded quickly to my communications, and provided the information and advice I needed. Everything ran very smoothly and I was kept well informed at all times. For me, this was really important as I was experiencing a situation that was very new to me. But having a courteous, warm-hearted and knowledgeable guide to walk me through it removed any concerns and uncertainty I had and kept me on track. Having Hannah by my side has been absolutely amazing and I couldn't have asked for more. Her work and efforts have made an enormous difference to my life and I am now moving forward towards a much brighter future. I really cannot thank her enough for everything she has done. I am certain that she will make a huge positive contribution to the lives of her future patients.

Hannah has been an amazing support during the titration process. Communication was always very clear and accessible, and I never had to wait long for a reply. Hannah gave me advice on how to prevent/manage side effects and adjusted the medication to suit my needs, for example, she added a small dose of Amfexa to combat the tiredenss I was experiencing in the afternoons, which really helped with my job performance. I felt comfortable asking questions and overall felt very supported. I am so grateful to Hannah for facilitating this process for me and for making sure that the treatment would fit my needs.

Hannah has been wonderful throughout my titration process. She has been tremendously supportive and thorough, responding quickly to any messages that I sent. I felt that Hannah considered my feedback on treatment very carefully and was able to offer me helpful advice on managing the side effects of my new medication. It is clear that Hannah cares greatly about the well-being of her patients and works hard to ensure they receive the best care. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her.
