Review of Phlebotomy Service

From the rectionist to the lady who took my blood was very helpful, polite, cheerfull and chatty. I didn't even feel the needle go in to my skin. Shame they was running 20 minutes behind appiontment time, which is unusual.

Suggested improvements
When running hind time it would be good to have a note up as this would help people manage there time and stop people asking how long to go before they are seen.

From receptionist , who took my initial call. To the young lady who took details of my problem. The Practioner who saw me gave me every respect and carried out extensive tests to ensure I would have no side effects later on. Thank you to everyone involved. [name removed]

Review of MSK Physiotherapy - WBCH
16th September 2024

I was able to give an account of what happened to me. The therapist listened and then tested my ability before giving advice on what to do next.

Two big negatives regarding my experience: 1. I was not aware of what was going to happen during the first consultation, so didn't know what I should wear. I opted for a dress as the therapist needed to examine my knees. However, I was asked to perform several exercises in front of the therapist which involved using my arms for support. The dress was in the way so I ended up having to tuck it into my knickers, which was extremely embarrassing. Maybe suggest in your appointment letters to patients that they should wear shorts or something like that for modesty? 2. My therapist said they would send me, via email, the exercises she showed me so I could do them at home. I assumed they would come straight after my appointment but I received nothing. Nor did I receive anything the next day, nor the next day after that. I phoned the clinic and was told a message would be given to the therapist but I still have not received any exercises, so I'm having to do my own, desperately trying to remember what the therapist said, so I'm probably doing them all wrong!

[name removed] on the front desk took my original call and walked me thru my head injury and advised me to come into the clinic immediately. I arrived at the minor injuries unit and was then seen again by [name removed] who did all the tests. I did not wait long and was then seen by [name removed] who was equally caring, efficient and helpful. [name removed] says the NHS is broken-that was completely opposite to my experience. The team was fantastic and I walked away patched up with all the after care literature and tips that I needed. 5 star service!!
