I had a miserable time (under NHS A&E care) with a burst abscess resulting in a seaton being put in. And went to Mr Dvorkin for a private consultation.
He recommended laying the fistula open under general anesthetic. I was nervous. He was clear and re-assuring that it was, in my case, a very simple procedure. And so it turned out to be.
I was pain free immediately post surgery with a full range of motion.
I feel I received excellent care, both 'bedside' and in the operating theatre.
