St John & St Elizabeth Hospital

All good - no problems

Although our consultant did a stellar job the rest of the experience at the hospital was well below our expectations as well as frustrating beyond belief. The room was dated with few electrical outlets within reach to charge devices. A broken window pane, and dirty!! The internet was awful - technically not available. The ward staff was a total disconnect from reality. They did not listen to questions and answered what they though they heard. Jolly ... but totally unprofessional in their approach to patient care. Times of expected checks was not adhered too, even though we were told they would happen. This is unacceptable for any hospital ... but shocking for one you pay to use. We expected a 10 star experience, it was not even close. There are other private hospitals nearby, perhaps to be seriously considered.

Great hospital, facilities and competent staff.

I was overwhelmed by the care that I received from the staff on St Elizabeth Ward. nothing was any trouble. Everyone had time for me and were very professional and extremely friendly.

St Johns and St Elizabeth's Hospital is ideally located within a few minutes of the tube which makes it easy to travel to. It is modern, clean, tidy and the rooms are well equipped. I had a room with a view which made my stay more enjoyable! The staff were really approachable and professional, and the food was delicious. My whole experience at the hospital was really positive.

Months after my visit I'm still getting chased for payment, this time from a 2nd debt collection agency. The 2 consultations I had were paid for in cash at the time of my consults. !! They acknowledged the first debt collection agency were called in in error, and there was No debt owing. I think the admin here is utterly hopeless

Five star treatment in every respect from fantastic personnel. Nothing more needs to be said!

The surgeon consultant is not up to scratch. Was given an incorrect diagnoses from my scan.

Brilliant hospital. Well run and probably the best in London. Real patient centered care with real values with happy motivated staff. Small enough to avoid the impersonal profit driven feel of the American ones and big enough to treat complex problems. I'd recommend St John's to everyone.
