Mr Henry Atkinson is an outstanding consultant and I cannot recommend him highly enough. He is a wonderful man, obviously very highly skilled and professional, but also with such a warm and caring approach that you are immediately put at ease. He has operated on my husband, my son and, latterly, me, and we all endorse these comments; we hold him in the highest regard. Nothing is too much trouble for Mr Atkinson, he goes above and beyond what one would expect, and I would wholeheartedly advise anyone to go to him.

Mr Atkinson has operated on my knee twice and can honestly say he's one of the best doctors that is providing excellent and safe patient care. Mr Henry Atkinson listened to my concerns and was great pre operatively as he thoroughly explained what would happen prior and during the arthroscopy. His post op care was second to none as regular follow up appointments were made and went out of his way to ensure I was recovering well. Mr Atkinson is such a kind, thoughtful, considerate person who listens to what you have to say, and he goes through everything with you, he also explains everything so clearly, and answers any questions you may have honestly, and he doesn’t mind you questioning him about your treatment, I had to see quite a few different doctors before I finally got to see Mr Atkinson, and after that I wouldn’t see anyone else, he explains your treatment, the outcome and answers any questions you may have, and he will even address any fears or concerns, Mr Atkinson is a credit and asset to The North Middlesex University Hospital.
