I came to see Mr Atkinson back in November 2020 with regards to a right knee Torn meniscus.This was causing me extreme discomfort, especially on bending the knee and was also catching and jarring on extension. Mr Atkinson was extremely polite and friendly.He explained what the symptoms were likely to be and conducted a thorough range of tests to justify his prognosis. He requested an MRI Scan to justify his findings,and we discussed his protocol to perform an Instrumental Arthroscopuc Medial Meniscetomy, in conjunction with Chondroplasty. I had the operation performed 6 weeks ago, and it has been a phenomenal success. Immediately after the operation I was in no pain or discomfort whatsoever.I was able to walk around normally at full pace, without the need for painkillers. Even after the Anaesthesia wore away, I didn't need any pain relief medication whatsoever. My range of motion is now excellent and my pain symptoms and jarring and catching had completely subsided. I also had surgery done back in 2013 on the same knee to treat Patellar tendonopathy with Mr Atkinson. That operation was also a phenomenal success with no adverse side effects and it completely resolved the issue 100%. I would recommend Mr Atkinson extremely highly to resolve any lower limb pain issue you may be experiencing. Please consult him initially and adhere to his protocol, and this will resolve the issue completely. Mr Atkinson is very highly experienced and knowledgeable in this field of expertise and is the one to correct your issue, based on my own personal experience over the last 10 years. I am so happy and grateful to have been advised by and operated on by Doctor Atkinson, my knees are now pain free. Doctor Atkinson has a really reassuring approach which puts people at ease instantly. He is entirely dedicated to his patients and in my case was prepared to think outside the box to find the right solution for my wellbeing. Both my surgeries were free of complications and I made speedy recoveries each time.

Mr Henry Atkinson is one of the best Dr's I have ever come across. I was afraid to have this procedure done however he was very professional and understanding. He explained the procedure to me in detail and made the whole experience comforting. He was very respectful and down to earth and I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

having had four procedures, my last one being a total knee replacement, i find him to be a excellent consultant . very informative , and listens to what you have to say , making you feel at ease. so i can highly recommend him .
