I was fortunate to meet Mr Henry Atkinson quite a number of years ago. Even though I have always been a NHS patient he has treated me with the utmost respect, listened to what I had to say and nothing seems too much trouble to him.
Mr Atkinson is what I would call a gentleman doctor who does not talk at you, listens carefully and explains the whole process very clearly.
I am unable to think of anything that would improve the care I have received whilst being in the care of Mr Atkinson.

From start to finish, Dr Atkinson has been nothing short of exceptional. He specifically recommended me a conformis knee replacement, recognising my needs and bow legs.
He helpfully explained the full process clearly, demonstrating patience and professionalism throughout. He carried out the operation successfully and has been as supportive post-operation, as he was pre.
I highly recommend Dr Atkinson as a surgeon for all those considering similar operations in the future.

I can't speak highly enough of Dr Atkinson, I had my left knee done with him and the change has been unbelievably good, I couldn't be happier. I'm currently awaiting my right knee to have the same surgery and would only have Dr Atkinson do it not only for his professionalism but also his manner and the fact he really goes above and beyond for you.
