The injury was explained to me well when it first happened so I knew exactly what was done. The procedure I was having was also explained clearly so I knew what would be happening. The results have been much better than I was expecting originally. The scar is very neat and for its size, doesn't look too bad or unsightly. I managed to get back to the gym roughly 3 weeks after my operation which I did not think I would be able to for around 2 months post op. 2 months later and I am back to sports (football) and around 85% of my original strength; I imagine I will get back to full strength very quickly as the progress has been rapid, from struggling to move 2kg after 3 weeks to comfortable lifting 28kgs over head around 10 weeks after the op. On my check up a few weeks after the op, Mr Talawadekar was very friendly and was genuinely pleased with the results, which as a patient gives you a lot of confidence in his work too. I'm overall thrilled with the operation and care from Mr Talawadekar!
