Mr Talawadekar performed a repair of my left distal biceps. I work in construction and managed to tear my bicep tendon from my elbow. Mr Talawadekar talked me through the procedure, outlining what was involved in the complex surgery, and the pros and cons of having it. His kind, easy going, yet very confident manner put me at complete ease. I was more than happy to have him as my surgeon. Handsome, easy going, confident and highly skilled. I highly recommend him.

I had rotator cuff repair to my right shoulder performed by this excellent surgeon. Prior to surgery he fully explained what was required and how the surgery would be performed. At my 3 week follow-up, the wounds have completely healed and I have recovered 90% of the movement in my right shoulder. Following the advice and daily exercises, expect to be fully recovered by my final post-operative appointment in 3 months' time. At the follow-up appointment, Mr Talawadekar explained how the surgery had gone, with a number of photographs depicting the before repair and after repair structures within my shoulder. I can highly commend this surgeon, not only for his skill but also for fully appraising the patient at each stage of the diagnosis and treatment.

From Mr Talawadaker introducing himself I felt very comfortable ! I had had an Xray at my local hospital and it did not take long for Mr Talawadaker to advise me of the treatment options for the very swollen (and ugly) extremely painful Right Index Joint - Distal Inter phalangel. I chose to have the Gel surrounding the joint withdrawn from the finger with a syringe and then injected with steroids. I was called back to the hospital within the week to have the small procedure, I was given a local anesthetic and the procedure commenced, 15 minutes later I was on my way home. I am now pain free - back to nail polish and more importantly being able to write legibly and not dropping every thing I pick up. I have been assured that should I have any problems to get in touch with the team straight away! I was treated with the utmost curtesy and a little humour Thank you Mr Gautam Talawadekay Kath Holden
