Very professional and knowledgeable, dealt with my problem effectively and efficiently. I was extremely pleased with the whole treatment process, everything was clearly explained and I felt that I had a clear understanding of what was going to happen. A great sense of humour which helps to make what could be a stressful time much more bearable. Thanks for resolving my shoulder problem.

Dr Talawadekar was great at listineing to my problem and also giving me the treatmnet with empathy and a smile.
He was through in his explanation and also that I may need an operation in the future which I would gladly go ahead with with said Dr if i needed to.

Very pleasant man. Likes to do his own diagnosis before looking at the MRI. I found this very reassuring.
Operation went exactly as planned. I am now working with a physio to get my shoulder back to full strength

Mr Talawadekar is a lovely man. From our first meeting, he put me at ease with kindness and humour and fully explained why I was having the pain and reduced movement in my elbow joint. He explained the operation he could perform and managed my expectations of what could be achieved. I feel very fortunate that he was the consultant to whom I was referred. My operation was successful and I am delighted with the results. I would not hesitate to recommend anyone undergoing surgery performed by Mr Talawadekar.

Introduction:
After completing Orthopaedic training in the UK, Mr. Talawadekar undertook Fellowship training in shoulder, elbow hand/wrist and sports surgery in the UK and Canada.
He currently works as Orthopaedic Consultant with special interest in Upper Limb Surgery at the University Hospitals of Morcambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust. He has been an Orthopaedic Consultant since 2016. Majority of his work involves Shoulder and Elbow surgery with the rest involving Hand and Wrist. He also perform general orthopaedic trauma surgeries.
He is a Fellow of the Royal College of surgeons of Edinburgh (FRCS Tr&Orth) and the American College of Surgeons (FACS). He is actively involved in research with multiple National and International presentations and publications in peer reviewed journals and is the Principle investigator for some National Research Projects, at his trust.
He is also a keen trainer and junior doctor educator, and was awarded 'Teacher of the year' award. He is an accredited faculty with the AO foundation, a prime worldwide organisation that deals with trauma care. He is the College Tutor and is responsible for surgical training at the Furness General Hospital.
He is a member of British Elbow and Shoulder Society (BESS) and British Indian Orthopaedic Society (BIOS). He was awarded Certificate of Excellence from iWantGreatCare, a patient review website, after becoming one of their most highly and consistently recommended clinicians by patients treated under his care.
Prior to coming to the UK, he completed Undergraduate and formal Post graduate training in Trauma and Orthopaedics at University of Pune, India.
