Dr Shafia Hakeem

Never called for GP phone appointment. Was waiting for an hour. No explanation.

Dr Shafia Hakeem completely lacks professionalism and her bedside manner is horrific. She needs immediate training to learn how to be patient centric and actually listen to patients. Initially she wouldn’t send a letter to a specialist which was recommended by another doctor as well. I need this desperately to get medication as I am in crisis. She then said she would send my ecg and recent physical exam but then she backtracked on that too. Although I repeatedly said I’m in crisis she didn’t bother to read any of the notes in relation to that and repeatedly did not listen to anything I was saying or what I actually needed which is this letter for medication approval. Never book with this doctor. She needs training before she should be allowed to see any patients again.

Dr Hakeem was so kind and caring to my daughter. I would highly recommend her at the Knightsbridge practice.

I found this doctor to be extremely indifferent, unhelpful and a bit rude. I now avoid booking any appointments with her as her lack of care is simply unacceptable.

Dr Hakeem's care and attention was excellent. While staying in London recently I visited her at the Knightsbridge Medical Centre where she is a locum doctor. She investigated my illness as much as she could in the time available and sent me for thorough tests for which I await the results hoping to speak to her, if not a colleague at the medical centre.
