Boots Opticians Kings Lynn - High Street (opposite Boots)

All in all it wasn’t the usual friendly, helpful atmosphere that I have experienced previously in all of my past appointments. Hopefully, it was just an off day!

It is one matter for the store to be run with military precision (fundamentally, I have no problem with a manager running a ‘tight ship’) but it is quite another when that manager is so vocal she is heard reprimanding staff. There are ways a manager should conduct themselves and, yes, in the normal course of events staff should understand and respect their manager’s authority. However, the manager of this store also needs to understand that the respect of her staff is something that is earned, and my concern as a customer is placing myself (namely my eyes) in the care of staff being treated in that manner by their own manager after hearing this performance. My advice would be to find an opticians where the manager looks after their staff because, as cliched as it sounds, staff with supportive managers are more likely want to look after customers.

No improvements needed good job done by All

The staff were not very helpful. We got asked to leave st the first appointment because they wanted to shut shop and we were not given the chance to select out glasses. Return visit the staff refused to give information about thr prescripti n of my daughters glasses so I could order her sports glasses. Never been treated so poorly.

Friendly helpful staff

I was met by friendly staff who approached me right away. The optical consultant Georgiena was extremely patient and supportive by answering all my queries before making a decision on frames and sunglasses. She was very efficient in letting me know exactly how much I needed to pay. She willing granted my request to take a photo of me in my potential frames. Finally, I recently had my glass frame arm mended at Boots successfully on the same morning I brought it in ( after it was accidentally stepped on by a child a couple weeks having them). Georgian was the one who brought the fixed frame back to me.

I found everything straight forward and I had no questions at all, excellent.

Excellent service I can't fault it at all

After I had had my contact lens check the optician said that she would order my new lenses ,after a little while she said that she would have to ring the supplier to find out the charge for me to pay, explained that I was on ascheme ( she mentioned that I was on a scheme during my appointments and that I didn't have to pay , she then said that she would order them and confirm by ringing me after 4 pm to confirm that she had done this, but she never, I then rang this morning (Friday ) and spoke to someone else who said they would check ans see if they had been ordered and would ring and leave mea message on my home phone to confirm that they had been ordered, but yet again no phone call!!!!!!!! This lets your service down,
