Staff were accommodating whilst also attentive and knowledgeable
We had to wait quite a long time between initial pictures taken of my son's eye and him actually seeing the optometrist. With two small children in tow this was a bit frustrating and inconvenient, but other than that one negative point, the staff were all really good with the kids.
My son's appointment was at 5pm.We were seen at half past.Sophie was great and very helpful.
Following the eye test it went downhill.
Morag was supposed to take photographs of my son's eyes- she didn't.
Morag was asked to sit with us after we had chosen some frames-she didn't.
We were forgotten about until quarter to 7 when I felt that everything was rushed as the store closed at 7pm.
Not good!!
Morag had gone home and not handed anything over to her 2 colleagues before leaving.
It would be helpful if more staff were on duty at busy times,not just 2 members of the team needing to serve 5 customers half an hour before closing.
My appointment had to be re-scheduled once by Boots and they I was called to re-schedule a second time. I complained and my second appointment was carried out at the booked time.
This could have been better.
