Boots Opticians Galashiels

This was my first time here and was really impressed with the optician.he is very very good..the staff are very friendly and very happy to help with any issues and concerns.they listen to ure preferences for glasses very happy with service I received today

Having been to this store before , my wife and I have always been very impressed by the professionalism of the staff and , in particular, by the warmth of welcome received and the care and commitment openly displayed by the staff. Unfortunately on this occasion, the welcome was non existent verging on rude. Every one of the staff we have met previously have been excellent ambassadors for Boots , especially Maxine. As we are regular Boots customers we hope that normal customer service will be resumed if we decide to make future visits to this branch.

Seemed to be very thorough examinations. Clear explanation throughout.

No problems at all. I used a prescription from another company which was accepted after a phone call to them granting my permission. Glasses arrive quickly and fitting was very good and efficient. I will recommend to my friends.

Was notified that my new glasses were ready for collection and arranged an appointment for fitting. I turned up earlier than I had planned for my appointment time and was prepared to wait. The assistant was able to take me straight away which was a bonus and greatly appreciated considering my home is 12 miles away from Galashiels.

I did not have an appointment with the Optometrist as I already had a new prescription from elsewhere; just needed new glasses. Staff very helpful and no pressure on what to buy. Fitting of glasses went very well, too.

I felt the optician had no people skills at all. Didn't feel comfortable and felt like I was in trial. Was to go back next week and I wouldn't have gone. I am a nurse and people skills is very very important Julie johnston
