I was treated by Claire Lower. Every detail was clearly described to me. I was very satisfied with the consultancy and had every confidence in the results of the tests.

I came to Edinburgh for the weekend and ended up visiting Boots Opticians after experiencing worrying symptoms. Max was extremely kind and patient and after tests, arranged for me to go to the eye hospital the next morning. I cannot speak highly enough of the treatment I received and would highly recommend this optician to anyone.

I attended boots opticians this morning and from beginning to end the care was first class. Have been going for years and would highly recommend the team to friends. I had Clare the optometrist for the first and she was excellent. She took the time to explain everything and reassured me as my eyes are not straight forward. She listened answered all my questions and nothing was a bother to her. Thanks to clare, all the team and boots for choosing amazing professional people.

While waiting to be seen, the young girl on reception, Claire I believe her name was, was rather unprofessional as she seemed to speak in her ear piece to someone and was laughing and giggling while, what seemed to be, guessing customers names.. and on several occasions saying that she honestly did not know. I am disappointed that Boots as a company would not be more mature and professional given that this is in relation to customers health.

All the staff were very helpful and friendly. Claire Lower, the Optician was very efficient and professional. She clearly explained everthing and was very friendly, gentle and helpful. Both Maxwell and Claire McGuire assisted me in choosing and ordering my glasses on separate weeks and both took great care and spent lots of time to make sure I was satisfied with everything. They both clearly presented me with all the available options and never tried to make me pay for things I didn't need.

The department was busy when I arrived but I was not kept waiting. Efficient and friendly staff.

The selection of frames is not very good

Both the lady that did the pre-exam and the optician were great, very friendly, efficient and clear. It could not have been any better.
