Boots Opticians Camberley - Obelisk Way

What a fab experience! I was about to switch to another high street opticians after a few years of poor service from this shop but my visit today has changed my mind. The practice seems to have had all new staff in as today I was seen by a young lady named Rachel, I’ve never dealt with this lady before but I must say she was incredible!! She made me feel completely at ease and talked me through all the tests she was doing, usually I am plonked in front of things without any idea what’s going on. Choosing my glasses with this girl was also the most enjoyable experience I’ve ever had choosing glasses and I’ve been wearing them 30+ years! She made it fun and personal and went through all available options for my lenses most things I didn’t even know was possible! I’m excited to collect my glasses when they come in and will definitely be coming back! Thanks boots and to Rachel for an exceptional visit

Eye test was fairly quick and painless. Everything was thoroughly explained at every stage Good service.optician was very nice and polite Have used this opticians before and won't hesitate to go back

Despite being given an appointment time was kept waiting 20 mins whilst someone else who walked in after I had arrived was seen. Optician had incomplete records which led to a great deal of confusion and stress. Please could someone review and collate records chronologioically as time is wasted every time I attend for appointments as the opticians search for previous information amongst numerous slips of paper. As result of incomplete notes I was given incorrect information about need for check ups during the appointment which conflicted with records when I went to the desk to arrange follow up appointment. Also a lot of time waiting both when in shop and also when tring to get through on the telephone. Staff are very nice but appear understaffed and the records need sorting out.

Closing the door as there was far too many interuptions during the consultation by other staff and noise in the waiting room was so distracting. It seemed as though the optician was trying to sort about 4 patients out at a time and he needed to focus on just one at a time

I was a customer at the Bracknell branch and have been for some time. I moved house and now attend the Camberley branch. My experience was very good. I saw a young girl for my tests before I saw the Optician, however I can't remember her name.(Emma or Ella). She was very patient and thorough at explaining the usages of the machines and how they work; very quick although I did not feel rushed. The young man (I think his name was Ahmed) I saw to order my glasses was very helpful on helping me choose my frame. He made a lot of time for my appointment and this made a change from other opticians I have been to in the past. The Optometrist was very well spoken and thorough reguarding my sight test and I left feeling confident he had done a good job. Very lovely staff and very efficient. Highly recommend. Thank you to all.
