Elaine the manager took my appointment. As usual she put me at ease is extremely courteous and friendly and very thorough . I would not want to be seen by anyone else . Long may Elaine be available to see to my contact lense needs thanks again Rohais Rennie

The staff at Boots Optometrists in Ayr are always genuinely friendly and guarantee professional care. Despite the busy environment there is never any sense of rush. It is apparent that all staff are committed to providing customer satisfaction.

Hassle free in making appointment. Seen straight away at the opticians. Very professional and courteous staff.

I was disappointed with the condition of the plywood chairs in the waiting area, they were very worn and dirty looking even though they were clean to touch.

Was a quick to get served. Good help picking the glasses and the optometrist was very friendly and discussed with change within my eyes.

Boots Ayr is a real credit to your company however....Boots in general not great! I’d run out of contacts lenses for the second spell in the trot and when I phoned up about this I was told it’s to do with when my direct debit comes out!?! I was sure it was supposed to be that I got new lenses every 90 days. After both telephone calls and a bit of debate I was told when my lenses would be out but neither telephonist thought to tell me my after care appointment was over due!?!

After experiencing a painful eye condition I was asked a number of questions and then given a thorough examination. At the end I was diagnosed with a viral eye condition and given drops to clear it up. Very happy with the whole process and relieved at the outcome. Optometrist explained everything he was doing - a very pleasant young man who put me completely at ease through the whole consultation.

All of the staff who dealt with me were so nice and very efficient.
