Staff were friendly and the hospital was clean. However, I didn’t feel that I was asked any questions about my symptoms I was experiencing and I was just told what I had and that I didn’t need anything for it. It says on my notes about having an immune deficiency and that I need early antibiotics to stamp out infections and I wasn’t even asked about how I was feeling or what I was experiencing. I wasn’t involved in the decision and felt that I was just being rushed and churned out on a busy day after waiting for 2 and half hours.

Very warm-hearted and helpful staff. The reception staff is nice, polite and have good patience. The doctor is very considerate and professional. After using the medicine, I recovered quickly. She is also very helpful. She helped to bring the medicine I need to me, for which I feel very grateful. She also explained every detail very carefully and patiently, and even helped noting down the important things on the medicine box. This is a wonderful experience. I truly appreciate everyone involved in the process and I really appreciate your help! Thank you!

No doctors were available at this walk-in urgent treatment centre — only nurses, who had no idea what patients were actually suffering from. They seemed more interested in getting people out of the door than in providing real care. I waited 4 hours, repeatedly explained that I was unwell, in pain, and could hardly move — yet I was casually told I was “fine” and sent away. Not trusting a word I was told, I made an urgent appointment with a GP the following day. When I saw my GP the next day, he was extremely concerned. This confirmed that the support I received here was completely inadequate, dismissive, and unsafe. There is no GP on site — just nurses using patients for training, including those who clearly need proper medical attention. Patients deserve better. I will never use this walk-in treatment centre again, and I will make sure my friends and family don’t either. Avoid this place if you want genuine care — don’t waste your time or put your health at risk. You need doctors here!

I mean i was waiting for 4 and a half hours for something that the Triage worker told me I would get which is a little bit inconvenient, as it could’ve been dealt with in 10 minutes. The place is lovely though, and the doctors/ nurses are great. The receptionists are okay, they do their job. It is accommodating and they do make sure you understand what to do which is nice. Only problems are with classic NHS waiting times really.

I have just had the most upsetting experience at this walk in centre. I waited over 4 hours and still hadn’t been triaged. Staff were standing around and triage only took in a few people an hour. I had been in a car accident and my neck was so sore I couldn’t sit any longer. Staff didn’t even seem to care and rudely told me I should be patient. I think over 4 hours was very patient for a first triage. There were people who had been waiting even longer, abc others who walked out like me uncared for. Sadly cannot recommend this service at all.

I took my granddaughter to the walk in centre the reception staff were brilliant and helpful but when we were called to triage this nurse was really angry saying when did this start and my granddaughter got really scared and I was so shocked that she was saying just give me a answer I just need to write something down we are so busy and later on I saw her friend come in and she was completely different with her. I was so shocked by her behaviour it was today at 2 30pm she was the the triage nurse but she really frightened my granddaughter and she will never go back there again because she felt bullied by this nurse and so did I . My granddaughter said I never want to go back there again and I told her I will never bring you back there again !

Kind and friendly staff who showed real care for their patients and dedication to their professions. The Northern Ireland clinician was caring, friendly and showed genuine empathy. Thank you. Warrick

My 8 year old child had burnt his hand which had a bandage on. Previous appointments where bandage replacement etc.. where done at other medical centres. However today we arrived just after 12 and since just waiting. Having to leave behind my 4 year old disabled child at home with someone else caring him. Utterly disappointed with the service.

I visited Woking Walk-In centre 3 times over Christmas and New Year - and still didn't get to see a doctor. Each time, they stopped taking new patients more than 3 hours before the normal close time due to slowly working through their patient backlog. I don't suppose that's all their fault, but the receptionists ignored people queue jumping, and their triage seems ineffective, impersonal, disrespectful, and blunt to the point of being rude. In my 3 times there, they didn't seem to care, and maybe forgot that I went for help in a time of need, and not just to be an inconvenience to them. On the plus side, it was clean and quiet!
