All the staff are so supportive and kind and work really hard under so much pressure, I have nothing but total admiration for them.
It’s average
Due to certain staff
Some staff, especially agency, can be very insensitive and have made me feel like a burden or a problem that they don’t want to deal with. Additionally, agency staff repeatedly refer to us by our room numbers not our names which is very dehumanising. Other than that, permanent staff are on the whole kind and compassionate.
Lots of inconsistencies with staffing means that care plans don’t always get followed
Some staff can be quite cold towards me after incidents and seem to hold a grudge
As they have worked to help me understand myself and my difficulties, they have spent time to help me reach the point where I feel ready to begin a new chapter and they are mostly helpful and supportive when I’m upset (it tends to be staff who don’t work here regularly that aren’t helpful)
Staff were poorly informed about childhood trauma and how the effects are often under the surface. Did not really listen to me and didn't give enough prompts to find out how I was doing. The appointment ended half an hour early.
Because I am not fully convinced that the proposed ECT treatment will work for you.
