Staff were poorly informed about childhood trauma and how the effects are often under the surface. Did not really listen to me and didn't give enough prompts to find out how I was doing. The appointment ended half an hour early.

I should have been better informed about what would be discussed in the assessment so I could make a checklist of things to talk about in advance. I felt like I was not being listened to and my experiences discounted and invalidated just because I live with my abusive parents (so they think it couldn't be that worse). If I were financially able to I would have moved out. And the care plan was only sent to me 3 weeks after the appointment!
