Outstanding care and kindness received. Staff listened and responded to needs, kept me informed about my treatment and care Albeit at the last minute in a couple of instances. Treated throughout with dignity and respect. Re the activity timetable, it was not always made clear where we should meet at the commencement of an activity, perhaps staff could be more mindful of this for patients in their first week or so on the ward.

If I miss an appointment they chase me up until I've had it. You could improve the service with a cup of tea.

The staff are all very good during the day but at night they are nasty I told Matron and also how they refused to let me have a cup of tea I’d glass of milk at night when I woke up even though I woke because they were noisy talking outside my room and turn8ng the light on to check me
The staff in the day were always kind
I had to be in the 136 first and the Nurse there made us both drinks and was very kind and friendly I wanted to go outside but couldn’t so they gave me a puffer to help me as I am a heavy smoker this was very kind and considerate of them
I like the Matron she was funny and the staff all seem to get on well with each other and are very friendly with everyone

My son was on Vaughan Thomas ward at the Warneford this was a very upsetting time for us as a family and we felt guilty our son was here and didn’t know what to do, the staff are an outstanding group clearly well led by Carol who always seems to be there and have time to discuss any worries, the staff were always friendly and whenever we left someone always asked if we were ok and how had our visit been
Dr Barrera such a gentle man who seemed to know straightaway what to do, everyone smiles on this ward and looked after our son so well, they were thoughtful kind and spent time with all of us , this ward is amazing Thankyou carol and her wonderful team

The staff were all really nice I felt treated well and they always tried to help me
There are lots of time to talk but not always somewhere private, I enjoyed walks in the grounds and sitting outside talking bout my worries
The food was ok but more salad and maybe some nicer fruit the bananas all go really quick
The older lady cleaner was very kind but the younger one was miserable and I found her grumpy if I walked on her wet floor in the morning I spoke to Nurse Carol who is the top lady and she was very kind and told me it was fine to walk on the floor,
Rumi and Andras were the best always kind and had lots of time for me thank you
