I want to say a big thank you to [name removed] for the Hand Therapy program; helped me a lot, now not only my hands but also I feel better. It's all thanks to you, [name removed], the right person in the right position.

Suggested improvements
Despite 2 people at desks at reception the reception staff gave poor patient service eg. Did not make eye contact or look up from their screens when working until I initiated a dialogue. Did not make me feel welcome and were not forthcoming especially on first visit when procedures are unknown.

Been past from pillar to post stat having treatment then cancel and on waiting list your over all care for ment health is appalling g , and as for the hub their attitude is take your meds .. disgusted!

[name removed] who I speak to always has time, she’s an amazing listener, empathetic, offers ideas and suggestions always explains my options in detail which gives me confidence to make decisions in which direction I go in. She is never judgemental, literally she is just what the doctor ordered.

I have found the IAPT not as helpful as before, I’m not referring to the person I am speaking to, but it just doesn’t seem to be helping as much, I’ve pretty much implemented a lot of the practices before I started the sessions as this is not the first time I have used this service. I feel like what I am doing is not benefitting as much as it did! I stress that this is not about whom I am dealing with, but what I feel I am getting out of it!

I was very pleased with the way [name removed] talked to me yesterday, she was very kind.

There was a row that went on in reception whilst I was waiting, between the receptionist and a member of staff, it went on for quite a while. I think it was unprofessional, this was the first introduction I had. It didn’t put me at ease. [name removed] was brilliant though !
