The service and care I received from the Hand Therapy unit was fantastic. Excellent communication prior to every appointment with regular text updates. [name removed] listened to my concerns and emailed me a course of exercises to do at home which gradually improved my flexibility. My wrist and hand have improved and I would like to pass on my thanks and appreciation to [name removed]. Overall a brilliant service from the NHS, thank you

Also, [name removed] was very helpful and flexible when it came to the way in which we held the video call that [name removed] couldn't do. So [name removed] made it so I could use the PC technology I have - thank you [name removed]

I always receive great service from the team, everyone is very helpful.

Sometimes it can be difficult to get a phone appointment but usually its sorted within the necessary time for me.

I was treated respectfully and with the utmost professionalism. I kept well informed with regards to my diagnosis and my proposed treatments were discussed in detail and I always felt that I was an important part of my treatment plan.

I had face to face appointments initially, but was then offered the options of video and telephone appointments as appropriate. which I felt this was a huge benefit, in terms of both the travel and parking costs, but also felt I wasn't wasting any more of NHS resources than I needed to. Each different option was suggested at the appropriate time in my treatment and I personally found the whole experience, very efficient and had no adverse effects on my level of care, or the outcome of my treatment.

I am neutrally diverse and have had some unpleasant encounters during appointments. No so this time. I was allowed time to discuss my communication preferences and style. I felt listened to and involved throughout The intimate procedure itself was pain free and again, l was informed throughout about what was about to happen next. [name removed] is a credit to her team and puts the patient at the heart of her practice. Thank you
