For what we are all coming for can be embarrassing or of putting .. maybe some form of segregated waiting

Not much more maybe a short q and a to get any extra information answered or other possible things related to sexual health which aren't stds .. still a solid free quick service

Thank you for taking the time to feedback. We want our patents to feel as comfortable as possible when they attend our services and whilst for many, attending an integrated service feels more anonymous as you could be attending for a number of reasons and no one would know, if you raise this with a member of our reception team we can find a quieter space for you to wait, if this can be accommodated at the time. During your telephone triage or face to face consultation with our clinical team, there is always an opportunity to ask questions and these will be answered as fully as possible. We also provide a range of information on our website www.nhft.nhs.uk/sexual-health In addition we can send by text link, leaflets for individual conditions which is a discrete way of providing additional information, further resources and signposting to you.

Review of Hand Therapy Service

[name removed] was brilliant, she put together an exercise plan to regain strength after a dog bite injury and after just a few months my hand is back to normal.
Suggested improvements
[name removed] and the hand therapy team were great.
Getting referred to them from Irchester GP Surgery however was a nightmare.
I felt like the staff at Irchester didnt really care and were in no rush to help me.

It was by fone Nurse reassured me and suggested other test to be sure. I took this at home was negative.

Most of the staff were amazing had banter with a few like pink beard Rosi3 and b3cky with the good hair felt listened to and supported when I was at a really bad point with my mental health staff made me feel like an actual person rather than a label o.t activities were very useful in finding out what I could use to further my recovery and the 1-1s were very beneficial the staff I had banter with felt easier for me to talk to them and be open with them and they knew how to cheer me up after and even knew I needed a 1-1 without me saying just by looking at how I was presenting at that current moment some of the staff weren't understanding of the fact i have adhd and can be quite particular and childish at times some of the staff did and were very understanding when I'd get overexcited or stuck on something being wrong and took the time to try and understand what was upsetting me and when i was nonverbal helped me communicate in other ways and some staff listened to the random penguin facts I had and got to know me on a personal level rather than just judging me by my diagnosis and notes

Understand that some people are neurodiverse and can't help being childish and getting upset because something doesn't feel right if a patient doesn't want to take meds explain calmly how they would help and the benefits of them because I wasn't fully aware what the medication I was prescribed in inpatient was for

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry you feel that staff did not explain the benefits of taking your medication in a manner you would expect. For any future medication queries, we do have to hand pharmacists that would be happy to explain your medication in more depth, as would your consultant during ward round.

Thank you for your review. You make a crucial observation that we are all different and that staff need to especially those who are neurodiverse.
