The patient and I originally wanted her to stay at home until the ultimate. Talking to the palliative care nurse and listening to her, Sally and I made the decision for the patient to be admitted, having been here for 12 days I can honestly say that it was the best decision that we could have made.
The care, compassion and kindness shown by all has been unbelievable. Thank you all, I shall forever be grateful.

We were extremely happy to have received care for out father from the crisis team: Kind, caring, professional, knowledgeable, concerned for our welfare. Also appreciate how well the team communicates with the district nurse and other services to ensure our needs were met.
It would be an advantage to explain more clearly how the crisis team can be activated, we did not know that we could use this service and actually got to crisis point before it was offered to us.
