The patient and I originally wanted her to stay at home until the ultimate. Talking to the palliative care nurse and listening to her, Sally and I made the decision for the patient to be admitted, having been here for 12 days I can honestly say that it was the best decision that we could have made. The care, compassion and kindness shown by all has been unbelievable. Thank you all, I shall forever be grateful.
