I attended Shirley Oaks hospital Croydon to see a consultant, which I duly did. I chased up the invoice from th consultant as I was leaving the the country which I paid promptly £280.00. Shortly before leaving he country I received an email for exactly the same amount, thinking this was a duplicate invoice, I sent a reply with a screen grab in my email responding. I was further chased for payment and eventually they took the funds from my account. After many calls and emails I discovered (although there is no written or verbal notification) that an invoice for the same amount was issued by the hospital! I am not a happy person, perhaps I should follow the same principal and charge for the work I do and the same amount for writing and sen ding the invoice? EJSC

The hospital failed to provide the care I would expect from a private hospital. After a 3-4 hours of delay in sending me to the operating theatre, the surgeon did not even come to meet me after the surgery to tell me how the surgery went. The hospital nurse and staff did not know initially how the surgery went and what kind of stiches were used. They said assume the surgery went well, otherwise the surgeon may have informed us in event of things going wrong. There were scratches and scribbles on discharge documentation, it was misplaced and some incomplete, sick note had incorrect name, ecg contacts were not removed from my chest, the staff did not document any of this - my pain, numbness, bleeding through the cannula, injury to my foot, repeated request to see the surgeon. They did not call me after two days they said they would, and even lied to me that they did. Even after 7 months of the surgery, I have pain and discomfort in multiple areas of the body, which wasn't there before the surgery. I can go on about many other things, but it brings back those horrible memories. Worst experience ever.

I had surgery with Dr Sarakbi today and I could not be more grateful and happy with how professional yet kind, patient and supportive he was. From the initial consultation right until I was put under anaesthetic, Dr Sarakbi has been amazing. I needed my implants from 16 years ago removed and replaced and I was nervous about being put to sleep. Dr Sarakbi was so amazing and kind and very down to earth which is exactly what I needed - I even had a laugh with him, the anaesthetist and the Nurses holding my hand !! A huge difference to 16 years ago where I had a huge panic attack. I cannot express what a brilliant surgeon Dr Sarakbi is and what a lovely man he is in general. Also the Nurse that works with him, Tina, is wonderful. She is so kind and patient and stroked my hand and spoke to me while I fell asleep. Nursing associate on the ward - Rebecca, was also amazing and kept me laughing. And the Anaesthetist was such a nice man and very down to earth and ‘normal’ I cannot say anything better about this Hospital and the staff that worked with me. I am forever grateful !!!!! Thank you Dr Sarakbi.

Only thing I would suggest is to ensure that once tests are done patient is informed about follow ups and doesn't have to check/chase for ones.

Dr Tadiparthi has been nothing but amazing and a great support pre and post op . she listened to my concerns ,answered all my questions with great detail I felt very little pain during the whole procedure, which was far beyond what I expected. I was expecting to be in a lot of pain after my liposuction and arm lift surgery, but that was not the case and my recovery was much smoother than I expected. The surgery has greatly improved my mobility and quality of life . My arms are no longer heavy and suit my body . I couldn’t be more happy with my results . If you're considering to have a procedure done I would 1000% recommend Dr Tadiparthi Thank you so much Dr Tadiparthi and team I will forever be grateful.❤️❤️❤️
