The staff members showed genuine care towards my brother. The warm and relaxed environment was critical in allowing him to settle down in the ward and on the path to recovery. I was very impressed by the team spirit on the ward. Each team member appreciated the specialised skills that others offered and worked well together. There was also a great deal of effort made in including critical external parties (e.g. NHS staff, social care) in the review process. This allowed for a smooth and successful transition back home.

No due to personal reasons.

The ward was noisy at night so sometimes hard to sleep

From Carer’s point of view and in our case my partner chose to sign out for 3hr visits on site at cafe so I didn’t see him in the unit apart from couple of ward rounds and one meeting re discharge. When I was at the unit everyone was very friendly and helpful.
