Many nursing staff very hard working
- Had to push for second opinion as team were happy to discharge my mother when she was self harming and threatening suicide and wouldn’t look at trying new medication. After pushing again, second opinion granted. New medication - lithium - resulted in best progress my mother has made in 45 years. Please stop writing people off.

Yes slept quite well
- It’s sometimes difficult to talk to consultants, it’s daunting and requires courage.

The nurses are incredibly kind and supportive, despite the constant claims on their time.
- The ward round meetings feel quite daunting, both for the patient and family members. I think it would also be helpful for the carer to have some time to speak with the doctors when the patient is not there, this did happen a couple of times but never in a pre-planned way so I wasn’t prepared.

The care given to my 69 year old sister was excellent. She was handled with expertise and it helped me a lot. I was able to give insight and was listened to when I had something to say. At all times I was included.

Our Grandmother was able to sleep as she wished and at her preferred times.
- Care was faultless; nothing could have been improved.

The expertise and compassion from all staff- even going as far as to offer a hot chocolate on a tricky visit!
- Perhaps more immediate feedback when there was a hospital/doctor visit. However, I’m not sure how feasible this would be and when asked feedback was always given.

- Level 6 food variety/options, too much mac and cheese!
