Excellent care throughout, however, very shocked to be there on one of the hottest days of the year with one of our daughters in the day case unit and hear one of the staff say they were not allowed to open windows. The ward, though spotlessly clean and welcoming was hot and stuffy - a perfect breeding ground for bugs and very exhausting for staff, patients and carers. If the reasoning behind this is to prevent people departing through the windows then simply have limiters fitted. To fail to let fresh air into a hospital of all places is simply crazy.
