I would highly recommend Ross Hall hospital for any woman requiring gynaecological surgery. At my first consultation i instantly felt safe and i knew i had came to the right place for the care that i required. I was treated with dignity and respect at all times and i was made to feel empowered in the decision making process regarding my surgery. My surgery has now been carried out with no complications and minimal scarring. I have had excellent follow up care and can highly recommend Ross Hall.

Paid £6000 for pelvic floor repair surgery in May 2021, it’s now almost a year later and I remain in terrible pain with the added complication of bowel issues. I only went private as the nhs waiting list was so long and I was really suffering. Here I am, still suffering, attending a pain clinic and still none the wiser about what is wrong. Just feel that once they have your money they’re not really interested in you. The care I received was adequate at the time even though I was sent to theatre with another patients notes! I certainly didn’t feel like I was in a private hospital. Really disappointed that my symptoms remain but I’m down £6000.

My most recent foot operation was in Feb 2022 and all staff were wonderful from entering the reception to operation & aftercare. A special thanks to Collette McNeil whose after care was first class. She has a lovely and very caring personality so wanted to give her a special call out. I highly recommend Ross Hall to anyone considering private healthcare. Many thanks

I have been a patient at bmi Rosshall over past few months after being diagnosed with breast cancer. My care from Ms Doughty, Mr Mansell and Mr Malyon has been wonderful from start to finish and can't thank them enough for the wonderful care I received from them all from start to finish. I would also like to mention my cancer care nurse Alison Morton who went above and beyond to help me out. Also nurses who cared for me before during and after my surgery I appreciate each and every person and thankyou all for your care and kindness

The worse and more expensive consultation I got from many orthopaedic consultants/physiotherapists. Delivered by Mr Chintis. He made an extremely fast and rudimentary observation, with no enthusiasm or special attention to my concerns on moving forward with this injury. He did not provide a friendly-user explanation, which I clearly requested throughout the consultation. Very arrogant, blunt and inconsiderate, he even made a sarcastic joke to one of my questions. Despite his grand expertise and how simple that intervention seemed to be for him, he could not advise me whether booking for an ultrasound or MRI (~£200 more) was necessary. He rushed the session from the start to the end. He shouted out the rehab exercise programme, which I asked him to repeat several times so that I could take notes (no even a copy of it was sent later). Again, he overheard any questions I made at this point. He just seemed to be waiting for the next patient while I was still there. The receptionist staff were very nice and attentive.

I, Anne Johnson and my family, would very much to thank sincerely Mr Meek and all the staff involved in my recent hip replacement operation. I so appreciate the wonderful care and kindness shown to me by everyone. Consequently, I would highly recommend Ross Hall hospital and wish you all every blessing for the future.

I have been attending Ross Hall for most of this year due to terrible, painful gut problems. The gastroenterologist I was seeing was nice to begin with, however his attitude changed significantly when I was given an endoscopy. I generally do not respond to sedation, due to anxiety disorder, and this seemed to be a matter of some hilarity to this consultant. The nurses were absolutely lovely, but the consultant was arrogant and made me feel really stupid. On a follow up appointment, he was dismissive, rude and talked over my head to my husband as though I wasn’t there. I gather that my symptoms and lack of answers are beyond his area of expertise, but rather than admit that, he insisted all my problems are due to my anxiety disorder. I left feeling utterly humiliated and extremely distressed as I have no idea what I’m going to do next. I have poor quality of life and this consultant simply does not care. Atrocious bedside manner and totally uncaring. I’m not keen to name him, but this experience has made it virtually impossible for me to have any confidence in who to choose to see next. My advice is to choose very carefully and try to find out what the consultant is like before you see them.
