I wanted to thank Mr Aweid and his team for a life changing repair of a repair last year on my knee. I was depressed because a repair of my knee had failed and I had to wait a long time to try and have it repaired again - this meant I was unable to exercise, walk properly etc. for a long period of time. I had also been told by multiple people matter of factly that the repair would fail again. Mr Aweid could see I was feeling despondent on the day of the op and he was so kind and supportive re he would try his best. And his anaesthetist actually listened to me re not waking up easily so he offered me a spinal block and so I could stay awake through the op. resulting in my best experience of an operation. Touch wood, a year on my knee is strong and I can exercise again. Thank you Mr Aweid and team.

Review of Mr Jay Smith and Trinity Ward/Theatre Staff Mr Jay Smith – Outstanding Orthopaedic Surgeon I feel incredibly fortunate to have had Mr Jay Smith perform my hip replacement surgery. He is truly an outstanding surgeon – his expertise, attention to detail, and clear communication throughout my care journey gave me complete confidence in his abilities. From the initial consultation to post-operative follow-ups, he took the time to explain every step thoroughly and address all my concerns with patience and professionalism. Trinity Ward and Theatre Staff – Exceptionally Caring and Efficient The entire team across Trinity ward and the operating theatres were exceptionally dedicated to providing the highest standard of care. Every member of staff, from nurses to theatre technicians, was warm, compassionate, and highly skilled. They made what could have been a daunting experience feel manageable, ensuring I was comfortable at every stage – from pre-op preparation through to my recovery on the ward. Their teamwork and commitment to patient well-being were evident in everything they did. I cannot recommend Mr Smith and the team at this hospital highly enough. Their combined efforts have made a transformative difference to my quality of life.

Mount Vernon is one of the best hospitals around. Everything about the hospital is about caring for patients this shows from the way staff deal with patients prior surgery to post surgery care. I was treated with respect and dignity throughout. I have volunteered at MV in previous years always felt I was part of the team. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending MV to anyone.

I had very good treatment from all the nurses at the Trinity Care Centre, especially nurse " Emma Tarant ", she was very helpful & polite, I was anxious , she calmed me down, she helped me to the car when discharged & carried my bag for me. Dr Omar rang me few days later & put me at ease & explained thoroughly about the procedure I had at Mt Vernon hospital to remove stone bladder, he also explained about my next procedure at Hillingdon hospital which put me at ease, Raheel Whetman

I received excellent care from all the team involved in my treatment. The Radiotherapy team were very kind and respectful and my needs were taken into consideration. They were all very organised and they had good communication between each department.

After a recent half knee replacement operation at Mount Vernon Hospital under Mr.Somashekar my experiences were excellent apart from a communication breakdown between the anaesthetist and tyhe ward resulting in poor pain meds for a few hours after the op. The staff were very friendly which put me at ease. The Ward was spotless.
