I really did not feel well looked after here, I was only in attendance because of traumatic injuries post an accident. It felt more like a field hospital in the patch them up and ship them out approach, irrelevant of the long term issues this would and has created.

I cane with my daughter in the emergency on Sunday. She was with hives, temperature and feeling very unwell. They just told me that it’s not emergency and send me to GP. Also the first question was why she doesn’t have vaccinations. In UK still the vaccines are not compulsory, it’s our choice for our kids. So they can’t ask me this question. We was waiting 3 hour to get to GP who just prescribed antihistamine, which she already was taken from 5 days before ( she has some allergy but they don’t want to send her to specialist). Second day my daughter is with high facet and the rash is still there. Where to go if no one want to help her? Very disappointed

staff spent most of their time moaning about their shift patterns the patients who were in the department and how busy they were. It was not a particularly professional environment

My treatment by A&E staff was OK but I was not reasured that my referral had gone fto the department it was meant to. Once I was seen by the same day treatment centre MEDDOC I was put at ease and dealt with promptly. A fantastic service of which I would recommend to any body.

I had to take my son to a&e on a friday afternoon, we were seen fairly quickly and the triage nurse was very helpful and did everything to keep my son calm and relaxed.

My daughter had fallen of her horse and badly sprained her ankle - was unable to walk. There were no wheelchairs for her to use and she had to be carried by my husband. There were no available seats and had to sit on our laps (she is 16). There was vomit on the floor when we arrived - it was not cleared until at least 30 minutes later. The triage nurse was unfriendly and did not make eye contact. The radiographers were excellent as were the doctors who then saw and treated her. They were friendly and attentive and gave excellent advice.
