The care both mother and baby received was very thorough. There was no hesitation in getting the opinion of a senior doctor/consultant when this was needed.
We thought the care we received from Abigail Valenti was particularly good.
The only negative was that it took a long time to be discharged.
Increasing the availability of reclining chair would be good for partners staying overnight.
We were seen quickly and all staff were friendly and professional
Very friendly staff members.
Helpful and caring, couldn't ask for more.
All staff really nice, friendly and helpful.
Greatcare throughout my C-section and afterwards lonely hospital.
Good support, frequent checks and questions answered. Great to be ab;ye to stay overnight on ward!
From the paramedics who came out to all the staff in A and E. We couldn't have asked for better care. Everyone went out of their way to look after us, we couldn't have asked for better care from anyone. Thank you to everyone. I am making good progress. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful hospital on our doorstep.
I was very satisfied - very quick treatment.
Very caring.
Birch Ward
Very good everything
If we are talking about Birch only, the integration with other elements of hospital activity is excellent.
Having a ward doctor and other disciplines operating from the ward enhances the smooth running.
From a care point of view, the team ethic is excellent, displaying working together in full view of patients. The ongoing training needs of incomers is highly noted.
From a patient viewpoint it all adds up to an excellent experience.
