I have not been to the eye clinic for 17 months because of cancelled appointments, due in part to Covid, but I also think the dept has been very short staffed. But after a visit to my optician, he could tell after examination, I had a serious problem with my eye that had had a cataract removed in 2016. Booked to see Dr Swetha Maddula, who put me at ease after my initial exam, explained the treatment needed and auctioned the treatment, there and then, it was painless procedure after numbing my eye, took about 30 mins, discussed further treatment, which might need further surgery and booked me in to see Mr Harman end of Sept. To summarise, 1st class treatment by Dr Maddula and her team, thank you.

Just want to say what a marvellous treatment I received from the Diagnostic imaging Department.Blood Pool Scan..it was just 1st class!! Sorry didn’t get the name of the radiologist but she was so caring and made everything clear and through out was cheerful and she couldn’t have been more helpful...thank you so much...

Only problem is hanging facilities for clothes when waiting to be called for operation. The whole experience was so reassuring everyone was so helpful, nurses before and after the op and the theatre staff. I dressed too early, my own fault, and bloodied my trousers. The nurses loaned me a pair of "scrub" trousers, so kind and thoughtful. Sincerely John Riddington
