Change the system from being assessed multiple times before seeing a doctor just to keep waiting times down on paper, the doctor we saw eventually gave us wrong information and we returned the next day for a scan that she hadn’t booked also the staff walked past a patient that had collapsed in the waiting area and left her there for twenty minutes after being told by another patient, people with chest pains left the department and went home after waiting 6 hours still not seeing a doctor. Not one of the nurses we dealt with were even remotely pleasant no caring or compassion and pain relief was promised at 1am and we left at 6am still not being given any pain relief

I would like to give so much praise to all the nhs staff for doing such an amazing job. They all deserve a medal. I can not say enough what a wonderful job they do everyday

We were directed by NHS online to an urgent care appointment. On arrival My concerns were regarding sever abdominal pain. The doctor took my blood pressure and because i suffer with high blood pressure focused on this rather than the reason I was attending. I tried to explain that my blood pressure is normally high and im receiving specialist care for this. The due to my blood pressure the doctor took me round to a&e. Were the triage nurse on the reception desk as you walk into A&e was EXCEPTIONALLY RUDE!! There was no “Patient centred care” My views were not listened to and I was ignored! If the doctor had of read my notes he would have seen my blood pressure readings and he could have then actually focused on the reason why I was attending hospital. This had made me feel exceptionally disappointed with the service I received, and am appalled by the professional of the Nurse on the triage desk. I hope this feedback allows future patients to be listened to and helps improve your service.

Staff need to listen to there patients. Staff need to be more welcoming instead of been abrupt and rude.

As much as I would love to give Good report, care was slow that it took me 2 days visit to eventually get cocodamol and antibiotics. Spent 6hrs the first day and got nothing done except vitals. Came back the following day was in the ACU or ADU from 9.15am to 6.25pm admist of having to move my car every 3hrs and paying for a continued stay elsewhere. It is ridiculous.

Try make patients spend less time as possible at most 3hrs which the parking also permits.

I was given an appointment straight away by the 'same day health centre' and was seen the same day at the urgent treatment unit. I was given medication straight away which is already making me feel better. Previously there were no appointment at my GPs, even though I have underlying health conditions. It makes a change to be helped so well.
