We were directed by NHS online to an urgent care appointment. On arrival My concerns were regarding sever abdominal pain. The doctor took my blood pressure and because i suffer with high blood pressure focused on this rather than the reason I was attending. I tried to explain that my blood pressure is normally high and im receiving specialist care for this. The due to my blood pressure the doctor took me round to a&e. Were the triage nurse on the reception desk as you walk into A&e was EXCEPTIONALLY RUDE!! There was no “Patient centred care” My views were not listened to and I was ignored! If the doctor had of read my notes he would have seen my blood pressure readings and he could have then actually focused on the reason why I was attending hospital. This had made me feel exceptionally disappointed with the service I received, and am appalled by the professional of the Nurse on the triage desk. I hope this feedback allows future patients to be listened to and helps improve your service.

Suggested improvements
Staff need to listen to there patients. Staff need to be more welcoming instead of been abrupt and rude.
