The lady doctor on Friday listened to me any my concerns and referred me to the correct clinician who also seen me that night on the ward, after years of being passed from pillow to post I now feel that I am being listened to by the correct people.

I made an appointment for 16:30. Got to the fest the woman told me I didn’t have an appointment. Showed her my text message which said face to face appointment at 16:30. She took my details and told me to sit down and she would deal with it. After an hour and a half went by I went back up to the desk to ask what was happening as people had been seen before me who had just got there she replied ‘ya and those people have an appointment’ I replied ‘so do I’ to which she then asked if I was Joanne I said no you just took all my details and told me to sit down whilst you sort it. She went through her bits of paper and found me and said I wasn’t on the system I said yes I know we’ve been through this i shows you my text and you said t you would sort it to which she replied there’s nothing she can do. I explained I’d been the night before and the doctor wanted to admit me it and told me I most come back if it’s any worse. She still wouldn’t let me see anyone. Asked her and her manager for their names and they refused to To give them. This was 15/11/2022

You could have spoken to me more nicely and professionally. You could have actually done what you said you were going to do .

Reduce the waiting time

Waiting for call back didn’t receive one had to ring back day after then waited another 5 hours and eventually was seen at 3 pm

Don’t leave people waiting for so long before getting back would have been quicker just going to a and e maybe if I had known I was going to wait over 24 hours would have gone to a and e

The service from the 111 call, to the GP in urgent care and the ENT doctor who provided specialist advice were excellent. Even had follow up calls from ENT to ensure I was recovering. Couldn’t ask for more.

As I do not have any long term illnesss.

Each female need to do a urine test up to a Session age. The recipient just got a lot of walked around the waiting area given them to them and saying you need to do a urine sample some people was young. Also did not need everyone to no either. Their actual forgot me and from the recipient desk their just shouted my name out and said that I also need to do a urine sample. Then said now if you could please as I was going in next. In front of everyone. It was embarrassing for me at the age I am so I would not like to thing how the younger feel about it.
