I was waiting for 13 hours, the information provided was very inaccurate and when I was asking questions the staff at the reception was very unkind (probably due to stress which I understand). The facility had rubbish all over the floor, including blood that was not cleaned for over 6 hours. People with open head injuries walked out and didn’t wait for treatment where others waited for 12 hours just for dr. to come out and say that they will need to phone a specialist. This was the worst NHS experience I ever had, I lost trust that in the event of very serious injury anyone would help me.

Improve ticketing system, introduce frequent housekeeping checks in the waiting area, provide water to waiting patients and be kind and understanding as people come with genuine concerns about their health and wellbeing or health of their family memebers.

Because normally I’m well and not on any medication or requiring treatment. The reason for using the service was post operation advice

Having better facilities for post op patients that can’t just sit on a normal chair while waiting to be seen!

Staff were extremely rude, after speaking to out of hours I was advised to go to A&E to be seen and I was told I was fine and to go home which has resulted in me being ever more poorly and ending with antibiotics and steroids The ladys on the desk were not empathetic nor did they have any people skills I would be ashamed if that was me and they are meant to be in a caring role when she was nothing but vile.

Keep the urgent treatment waiting room cooler please. It was really warm inside the waiting room and feeling ill, fatigued/tired already, it made me feel even worse

The waiting time was too long.

I was told I was on a 2 hr waiting list for a clinician to call me back, I was warned it could be longer, 5 hours was a bit too long to have to wait. I was given an appointment for 7:15pm in arriving I was told that there was a wait, we read a note saying that there was a wait of 4 hours. Seemingly there was only 1 doctor on duty, had I been that doctor I would have ran from the building, totally unrealistic to expect 1 person to see the amount of people that were waiting to be seen. My husband decided that I was too ill to wait there we informed the reception that we were leaving. I saw my own doctor the next day. I had had cancer surgery in the 13/02/23 which was why I was anxious to see a doctor.

CDU nurse was absolutely horrible!!! Because of the way she treated me I was ready to self discharge. Raised her tone,asked why I was starring at her,refused to make the bed in my room so waited 4 hours on a chair.
