I was given no updates as to how long it would be before I was seen. I was finally seen over an hour after my appointment time. When seen, the doctor was incredibly rude to myself and made me feel quite upset. He was very judgemental and made out to me I was lying about my symptoms.

Doctors need to treat patients with respect as it really doesn’t help you when you are already feeling shocking

Staff were excellent

I was sent to A&E after ringing 111. But was sent from A&E to the urgent care dept because staff l saw in A&E said l needed antibiotics and they could not give me a prescription. I really felt it was totally a unnecessary to go to the urgent care dept and a complete waste of their time. The urgent care staff were amazing and did a thorough examination which l had already had in A&E. So what is the point of two examinations. I just cannot get my head around why waste medical staff precious time.

The doctor saw me within minutes of arriving despite being late. He took into account my pre-existing medical conditions, and even phoned the biochemist out of hours to receive blood results taken from my GP.

The clinicians should have access to ICE to enable them to view blood results instead of contacting the biochemists.

There was quite a delay from the triage phonecall to the available appointment, however every single interaction with staff throughout the whole process from triage to reception to the doctor himself was fantastic. They were professional, efficient, empathetic and listened to me. The care was excellent and follow up services were arranged quickly and efficiently despite my appointment being in the middle of the night. They level of care was superb.

The only aspect that could have been improved was the fact that there was a 5hr wait from the point of triage to the first available appointment and I was in a lot of pain, but the fact that they still saw me despite the appointment being 2am was really helpful and prevented any delay to my care and treatment

After trying to get to see my own doctor for over a week I finally had to phone the 111 service and was given an appointment at the DRI urgent treatment center with my toes been infected and having diabetes. Thanks to the doctor that attended my foot and gave me antibiotics I am now on the mend.

I have no complaints about the service I received but what they have to put up with from some people is appalling. More security is needed

Told I needed to be dealt with within 2 hours and wasn't called back for ove 3 hrs by that time I had to go to work as there was n time for other options
