Second time I’ve had the misfortune to use your facilities, first time I arrived in an ambulance , after a CT scan I was offered a drink and sandwich , then dismissed, being told there was nothing wrong with me. After seeing my consultant in Cheshire , he organised an MRI scan , this denoted I’d had a stroke.
The last occasion two weeks ago , I arrived at A&E with terrible back ache, the doctor who examined me,
Sympathised with my condition, but didn’t organise a scan , just told me she’d contact pharmacy to administer codeine painkillers, I dismissed myself after waiting five hours .
I do not have a long term condition.
Prompt holding experience
Initial phone conversation was investigative and compassionate.
Information given was appropriate - and care pathway clearly stated and provided.

First of all the doctor was very professional and did very good examinations explained in good way my conditions
Records what needs to be done to the GP she was excellent
Appointment booked by 112 for 7.30. Waited 2 and a half hours! Told if I went and came back I would lose my slot. When you have a ragging water infection and ckd you and feel ill it's not what you expect for a booked appointment
The only thing I was missing is more detailed explanation to what was wrong with me, and wish doctor shared my xray results with me, which i requested… I cant get any help from my gp, so i need xray results for myself as i only have one option - go and treat my back privately as i cant get an appointment with gp. But you guys were all amazing at the hospital, i had soo much respect, no one made me feel bad
Stoma which is permanent. Heart condition permanent which was the issue. Stroke asphalts from 7weeks ago.
