I was told I couldn't have an ambulance to take me to hospital I was in really bad pain in my knee I got to hospital a friend gave me 1 crutch that's all he had so I asked for another to be told no absolutely discusting not the staff the way the NHS is I've paid in all my life
Overall a very good experience.
I waited 1.40hrs over my appointment time . I was given a prescription and shown a chart of available chemists .After driving round for 1hr to various chemists which were all closed I was finally advised by 8-8 service that yes everyone in Doncaster closed at 6pm . I should of been given this information at the urgent care clinic. I would of been as well seeing my own Dr the next day . Useless service
The treatment was excellent the doctor was very thorough
I have bi polar type 2,osteoarthritis of right knee, lymphedema in both lower legs, carpel tunnel in both wrists, anxiety, social phobia.
I have osteoarthritis
I used the service out of Doctors surgery hours
This service is brilliant
Thank you
I do not have a condition
All of the statements were true but did find that I had to answer the same questions twice., once with the nurses and again with the doctor. Time could have been saved by only seeing one person, preferably a doctor
I was sent to the urgent care centre from 111 but when I arrived, I was told that I did not have an appointment and there were many other people on their phones in the same situation. I centre was overcrowded and there was nowhere to sit. I then got a phone call from 111 telling me my appointment was made incorrectly and I would need to wait several hours if I wanted to be seen. This was not an option for me as I had a 2 day old baby that I had left at home (I was seeking an opinion on suspected DVT in my leg following giving birth to my daughter). I ended up leaving the centre and going home with no medical advice and just hoping that I didn’t have a blood clot.
