Attended out of hours to do with some heart and vascular problems following a heart attack last week, staff were very attentive and assessed me. Contacted the vascular team and had me round in A&E promptly. Faultless. Such a good service but unfortunately abused and overstretched.

Tell people who don’t need to be there to go home! Lol.

I was waiting for a couple of hours which I don’t think is a bad wait time I was seen by the doctor and was with him for less that 5 minutes He told me I have an infection, didn’t give me any further information about what could have caused it ETC Said he will put me on some antibiotics didn’t give me any other information on how to help i.e rest the leg keep it elevated or anything At a different UTC I was seen at as I had to go back because it worsened over night they took my blood pressure, heart rate and temperature none of this was done at Doncaster Also the antibiotics I was given it was written to take 1 tablet 4 times a day for 5 days however I have been given 7 days worth of tablets

I felt like I was being rushed out the building I don’t feel I was assessed properly and the label on my antibiotics was written incorrectly

Well, I was thinking I’d declare myself with HIV, however this wouldn’t be true and I can’t be skewing your results with false information. That’s just not cricket.

The guy who referred me originally could’ve sent me to the right venue however this is part of the service providers rather than the guys at DRI. They were truly wizard!

Having not used the A&E service in many years I firstly was feeling very unwell and worried so entertaining the building was daunting. There was lots of staff going about their daily working duties but no support in guiding me to the right place where I needed to be. It wasn’t clear as to where I should stand and who I need to see for my first contact of care. I had to watch other members of the public and see what they did and I then followed. The staff however we are fantastic professional and really calm and understanding. I felt the building was extremely rundown and didn’t feel clean as a hospital should. I then was asked to go to the critical care unit which I found very way to find. Inside the unit the staff was friendly but I was disappointed by the cleanliness the floors. Where I sat it had human hairs on the floor I saw one cleaner that swept over the floor didn’t even come where I was sitting to clean. There was also a parent in there with her two young children that was extremely noisy I feel a member of staff could of approached her just to explain that people are not feeling well and to keep the level of noise down.

I’m waiting in the A&E lady outside it fallen over that security guard came in and asked a member of staff how we needed to helper and a member of staff said that they needed a member of the nursing team to help get the lady up. Suppose security guard seem to be in an out of the department without any help from any staff. I am unsure whether he got the support he needed for the lady as nobody seem to come and help.

Nothing, advised to attend A&E and we referred to urgent care centre due to waiting times abs was seen within 10 minutes

The receptionist was rude. I told her my appointment was at 7, i understand alot of children and babies was there that needed being priorities. I felt like i was going to pass out, i asked when i was in next? she just said... i don't know what order you are. Other patients walked out because she wouldn't tell them the order. I didn't mind the wait if i could go outside for air but none of us was allowed to leave or you would loss your space. The first receptionist was nice and said... Don't worry you've you appointment, you won't be waiting 4hrs as you have an appointment. The second receptionist.... didn't even look at the list to tell me or other people where they was. Three people walked out and did nothing to help them. It wasn't the wait time that bothered me at all, i wasn't allowed to leave the area. She keep telling people different information it was they aren't working on appointments order today, its the order you check in from. Than the next patient was... you're to early for your appointment, i won't check you in. I asked her again and she did say, ill see where you are on list, but she could have done that initially. When i did see the doctor, i did get great care. The wait time didn't bother me, it was fact she refused to look at list and tell people approx order and i wasn't allowed to leave the area. I had an operation on Tuesday for a miscarriage, G5 ward was amazing and great care from start to finish, i am going send them good feedback over.

Tell people the order they are on the list and allow people to leave to get air and come back, even if its 15 minute only.

I wasn't listened to at all and I was gaslit by the staff member bc I'm mentally ill so they believed i could not have a physical health issue
