Ongoing issues with sciatica due to suspected herniated disc.
I wanted to thank the health care worker named Phoebe who took my baby daughter's observations 14 11 23. My daughter had spilled cold water down her babygrow whilst in the waiting area and she was wet through. This caused me to feel anxious during a long wait.
When called in to be examined, Phoebe provided her with a spare, dry babygrow which was just perfect. She also delivered friendly and attentive care second to none for which I am really grateful.
Secondly, the doctor we saw that day (who works at St Vincent's medical centre) was thorough and very kind and patient with my daughter. He also put my mind at ease and allayed some of my anxieties.
Despite the long wait, which is understandable as the NHS is very stretched to capacity, these wonderful members of the NHS can easily go unnoticed and overlooked. I just want to thank the workers for all they do and for their enthusiastic care and support in these hard times.
I was told to attend after midnight with a severe kidney infection . I have low immune system and I have had SEPSIS twice , constantly get UTI linked with my MS .. I expected help .. not given until I was seen using a sick bowl to relieve.my self as the only toilet was in use , i then saw a doctor who realised I had a severe infection and I required urgent care . He took my notes to AE where I waited all Night .. no treatment to relief the symptoms and no monitoring of how poorly I was . I left AE at 8:45 with a 3 day course of anti biotics .. that alone caused problems as there was no pharmacies open till 10 and then my wife had to go all around the city trying to find one that stocker the drug ! Ms nurse rang me 2 days after and said the anti biotics were not good and not strong enough for what I was presenting as an infection ... I'm back to urgent care a day later .. TOTALLY UNCONFIDENT IN DRI AE .
Everything was perfect thank you

Although I haven't suffered with asthma for years I still declare it just ro be safe.
The doctor myself and my daughter saw was fantastic. We both had Strep A and had the symptoms for a few days. Our local GP had done a throat swab on us both at the end of the week. By Saturday evening we were both covered in a rash and feeling extremely poorly. He saw us both and phoned the lab for our results, which confirmed Strep A.
He was so kind and reassuring and acted in a professional and extremely caring manner. The checks he did on us were thorough and he gave excellent advice as well as prescribing the medication we needed.
All in all I can’t thank him enough as we were on the road to recovery by the time we would have received the results from our GP.
Just a huge thank you for your time and understanding, what an amazing doctor.
Because i dont have one????
