Despite how nice the person that saw me was, What I wanted wasn’t resolved, specifically came here AFTER because my GP wouldn’t do anything for me despite how much pain I have been in for more than 3 WEEKS now, still ongoing. Was hoping something could be done for me at the hospital at the very least, except I got nothing but the usual check up.

Suggested improvements
Maybe have a simple letter signed, writing about the urgency of care needed when being redirected to the GP, the GP refuses to do anything about the pain I am in, won’t give me any medication I’m needing that was mentioned by the nurse that saw me at the urgent treatment centre. The GP also didn’t look at my notes, despite having told them to, based on what I was told by the nurse.

When treated at the urgent care centre i Waited for a long time to be seen, when my appointment was 2 hour earlier than I was seen, which I do understand. Then once I got in I was in a lot of pain with an ear infection and the Doctor who I saw seemed to want to get me over and done with, I tried to explain what I was experiencing and they talked over me trying to say I was wrong with what my symptoms were, after the fluid in my ear got too much my ear drum perforated Becsuse of the pressure

Suggested improvements
I felt I could have been listened too more and not talked over

I have been to utc twice last week, and on both occasions the staff were very friendly and great doctors were very attentive and informative and I felt that they took the time to understand how I felt despite them not being my regular gp. I vcannot thank them enough for their help at what I know to be a busy time

Suggested improvements
The room the doctor was working in was very very hot. I think for their working conditions it would be good if this could be addressed with a fab or something

My son arrived with a wheeze which wasn't being controlled with his blue inhaler. Was advised there was a long wait, not satisfied my son was okay I asked them to look at him there and then and was told his observations were poor and low. He was informed to have back to back inhalers every 10 minutes, to which they forgot after the giving him his first one! The staff didn't have any clue that night and folded with the pressure of so many people waiting to be seen.

Suggested improvements
Communicate more with patients. Don't take your stressful day out on people, treat people with respect & not lecture them. Do your job but faster, many staff were sat around talking for ages doing nothing!
