I have M.E/C.F.S
That’s the illnesses I have
It is an appalling system having to wait hours to be seen and then having to travel to the hospital late at night in the dark and on your own. The Doctor who actually saw me was very good. The receptionist was very cold with me as I do not wear a mask or a visor as it causes me panic attacks. Being treated in such a manner when you are not well is unkind and unnecessary.
I can understand why people do not go to the hospital to seek treatment under the Outbof Hours service. It is not a patient friendly system/process.
I needed a astma inhalor due to having a inception. I had called out of hrs gp. Who sent me here. I knew I had a viral infection and as a staff mense at dri didn not want to attend. So to be rudeley told I should have not attended as I was a server risk of passing on covid (even know I've negative pcr and lft) and I would not get a full examination becous I was a risk. I've have never felf so ashamed in all my life. As ashamed to call myself a staff member working along side people who can talk to patients like this.
When you are struggling breathing and have tried not to leave the house in the 1st place. You need someone with campation and not a attitude.
Excellent service
Efficient service and friendly helpful staff
They treated my son in a excellent manner. Putting him at ease . Delightful staff .
The staff were good professionals and I was only in the department just over 2 hours. The appointment time I was given was running late but that was ok
My partner took me in to a&e following a bleed and pain at 10 weeks pregnant. We were seen very quickly and all the staff we saw were compassionate and supportive at a very difficult time. My partner was able to stay with me which we were very grateful for.
